Will the owners be able to attract a decent manager?
Yes, unlike the sports media, I know we are the 8th/9th biggest club in England on turnover/wages. Yes I know top ten finishes are not the work of BFS genius. And yes I know moving to the OS gives us enormous potential. But would a top rate manager want to work with Gold and Sullivan? I don't like BFS but they have handled his situation very poorly, effectively helping to ruin the end of the season. If they cannot replace him they should offer him two more years and stop this nonsense repeating itself. And it pains me to say that. Sensible owners are seen and rarely heard.

BFS is a fucking terrible manager, just like 90% of managers out there. unfortunately the other 10% won't come to us so we're stuck with this sack of shit for another year

I agree that the cunt will get another deal. brady and gold have far too much say and influence over sullivan. he should pull rank and sack the cunt tonight and if tits mcgee doesn't like it, fuck off

Sullivan/Henry's involvement in transfer business wont help with some potential applicants

Re: Will the owners be able to attract a decent manager?
We will struggle to attract a big "name" like Benitez unless the squad is strengthened considerably. We have to hope we can bring in some quality additions in midfield and another striker and of course Jenkinson. The defensive foundation is there, we are short of quality in midfield and a creative player or two in there. We need to be a lot better at keeping possession.

A good quality replacement for CFC too.

A 50 - 100 million investment in players to get a proven manager with a track record IMO.

Alternatively, take a risk on a younger, progressive type of manager but Sullivan and Gold are unlikely to take that risk just before the OS move.

I simply cannot believe they will keep BFS. It's an open secret that they've been looking at various options, and there can only be two reasons for that: plan A is that they definitely want to replace BFS; plan B is that they were trying to put the wind up BFS to up his game. Plan B seems to have failed spectacularly, so it has to be plan A.

As for attracting someone decent, we'll be lucky to get Klopp or Benitez, but I don't buy these comments from people like Bilic denying that they're interested. Quite frankly though, I'd take the fucking Chuckle Brothers over Allardyce at the moment.

Re: Will the owners be able to attract a decent manager?
No.

They money involved in a Klopp/Benitez appointment is neglible given we are supposed to be bidding £30m for a player.

This HAS to be our priority and the kitchen sink needs throwing at it.

Sulli needs a big pair of balls on this one - it has to be done.

Not an easy call for him though, with Goldo and Brady snivelling around on it.

Rock and a hard place...

Re: Will the owners be able to attract a decent manager?
Just to add, it totally makes sense to get rid of BFS now. It clearly isn't working, the players are not playing for him. Needs a good shake-up and see who wants to play for us next season.

The longer they back Allardyce the less credibility they will come out with. They're a pair of cunts to be honest.

Re: Will the owners be able to attract a decent manager?
On a more positive note, I really do think the bulk of this squad is more than capable going forwards.

The problems are motivational, and most acutely the 'subliminal war' raging between Allardyce and Sulli. Sulli doesn't want to pay him off (as a matter of principle) and who can blame him - he sees it as making Sam sit in his own shit.

Trouble is, we are ALL (including the players) sitting in it as well now...

And I fear the lid is going to explode off the situation BEFORE season end at this rate.

Re: Will the owners be able to attract a decent manager?
it will drag on until the end of the season unfortunately, let him go before his contract is finished and we will need to pay him £4m or something like that, let's get the season over with I'm sure the owners are working hard at trying to get Benitez in the door, Klopp would be great and Bilic also great!
